The Leuser Ecosystem included in USK General Education Curriculum

HAKA and General Curriculum Technical Implementation Unit (UPT MKU) of University of Syiah Kuala (USK) has published a new teaching book entitled “Basic Social and Cultural Sciences based on General Education” which discusses “Humans and the Leuser Ecosystem”. This book is already included in the  Learning Plan of the university for the next semester, it will also serve as a guide for both lecturers and all new students in the future. It is expected there will be around 10,000 students who will study about the Leuser Ecosystem every semester. This figure is not a small number. HAkA believes that through good education, there will be more elements of society and students who will love and protect the Leuser Ecosystem in the future.
